Treks in Bhutan

In Bhutan you walk for days through valleys where only yak herders live, over passes between 4,000 and 5,000 metres and past mountains that are held sacred and may not be climbed. There are no lodges along the trails. The best known are the Druk Path between Paro and Thimphu and the trail to Jomolhari base camp.
