Bird watching

About 890 bird species live in Nepal, a country barely the size of England and Wales: hornbills and storks in the lowlands, pheasants in the mountain forests, bearded vultures over the high valleys. Good places are the Koshi Tappu wetland, Chitwan and Bardia national parks and the forests of Phulchoki near Kathmandu. The spiny babbler is found nowhere else.
