Cultural experience

In the Kathmandu Valley, history is not a museum. People trade, pray and celebrate on the royal squares of Kathmandu, Patan and Bhaktapur, pilgrims walk their evening rounds at the stupa of Boudhanath, and the fires burn by the river at Pashupatinath. Seven of these places are World Heritage, and Hinduism and Buddhism share many of them.
