Festivals

There is almost always a festival somewhere in Nepal. At Dashain children swing on bamboo swings as tall as houses, at Tihar oil lamps glow at every door, at Holi coloured powder flies, and at Indra Jatra masks and chariots move through the old town of Kathmandu. The dates follow the lunar calendar and change every year.
