UNESCO World Heritage

Four World Heritage sites in one small country: the temples and royal squares of the Kathmandu Valley, Lumbini, where the Buddha was born, the jungle of Chitwan and Sagarmatha National Park at the foot of Everest. Two tell of culture and faith, two of nature. Together they show Nepal from the plains to the ice.
