Wildlife experience

Early morning in Chitwan National Park: mist over the river, a one-horned rhino in the tall grass, a gharial on the bank. Tigers, elephants and leopards also live in the lowlands along the Indian border. If you like it quieter, go further west to Bardia National Park, where you have the wilderness almost to yourself.
