Treks in Tibet

Trekking in Tibet means walking under a very big sky: wide, dry high valleys, nomad tents, yak herds and the north side of the Himalaya on the horizon. Almost all of it happens above 4,000 metres, and higher still at Shishapangma, the only 8,000-metre peak entirely in Tibet. Good acclimatisation is everything here.
